For those of you who, like me, are not well-versed in health conditions, I'll save you a Google search; pancreatitis is the inflammation of the gland that aids in digestion and regulating blood sugar. 

His daughter, Alabama, has since posted on Instagram asking for prayers. Reps for the artist and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, have yet to release a statement on his condition, but Barker's family has expressed gratitude for the thoughts and prayers received from fans.

The man, who tackled Chappelle toward the end of his set and knocked him to the ground, was 23-year-old Isaiah Lee. He was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, because he was in possession of a "replica handgun with a knife," according to an LAPD spokesperson. 

Chappelle had multiple people come to his defense, in addition to security, including Chris Rock, who performed earlier in the evening, and is now familiar with being attacked on stage during a live performance. 

Chappelle kept things moving, however, and finished his set with jokes about Will Smith. Let's just hope he kept his wife's name out of his @#$%($# mouth. 

Duran Duran came in first with nearly 934,000 votes, which is 250,00 more votes than the #2 overall fan favorite Eminem. Duran Duran is a first-time Rock Hall nominee this year. 

Following Duran Duran and Slim Shady is Pat Benatar in third place, Eurythmics at fourth and Dolly Parton at fifth. Parton previously withdrew from the Rock Hall consideration, but decided she will "accept gracefully" in an interview with NPR's Morning Edition. Parton didn't realize the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame wasn't just for Rock & Roll artists, and she didn't want to take the nomination from a rock artist who might deserve it more. Do we expect anything else from the humble (but perhaps misinformed) queen herself? 

Just barely missing a top 5 sport were Judas Priest, Carly Simon and Lionel Richie (Simon and Richie were both first-time nominees). 

Winning the fan vote doesn't secure an induction, but it's an honor in its own right. The Rock Hall Class of 2022 will be announced later this month, and an induction ceremony will take place in the fall.

Despite having games lined up, the Gator’s football team has stopped all activities for the time being due to COVID.

Within the football program, 19 people have tested positive. This includes players, coaches and personnel, all of which reportedly have mild symptoms or are asymptomatic.

The LSU game has been rescheduled for December 12^th.

Regal Theaters is temporarily closed once again.

With the general public not quite comfortable going to movies theaters just yet, and there being no new movies, they Regal made the decision to close and open again sometime in the future.

Wonder Woman, The Batman, and many other blockbuster films were pushed back. Disney is even releasing Soul direct to digital. We'll have to wait for both businesses and the public to feel comfortable again before Regal will open back up.

Apple has announced the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max.

These new models have bigger screens, full 5G connectivity, and will be thinner and lighter than the iPhone X. Both phones will also have an improved triple-camera system, with the Pro 12 Max being able to take two second stabilized exposures.

A bid for a complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil ended with an anonymous buyer paying $31.8 million.

The T-Rex’s name is Stan, and he’s now the most expensive dinosaur fossil ever sold. Coming across a dinosaur fossil as complete as Stan is a rarity for paleontologists, making him extra valuable. Spending over $30 million, the buyer probably has a good-sized room to fit the 40-foot-long creature.

Disney has announced plans for a sequel to the live-action remake of The Lion King.

The film will explore more of the Lion King mythology, and reveal more about Mufasa’s origins.

Directing is Oscar winner Barry Jenkins (Moonlight).

Sometime down the road, Dr. Seuss will be in theaters once again.

Warner Brothers Animation Group has already given the greenlight to three animated Dr. Seuss movies: two about Cat in the Hat, and the third being a spin-off starring Thing One and Thing Two.

J.J. Abrams has also signed on to produce his first animated movie Oh, The Places You’ll Go.

These movies will feel like they all belong in one universe, but there are no ambitious crossovers planned.

Back in a simpler time -- 2009 -- millions of people were tending digital crops on FarmVille, a web game on Facebook. Sequels have been released since then, but the original still holds a special place in some people’s hearts.

If you’re one of those people, get ready for a bit of heartbreak. Facebook is shutting down the original FarmVille game on December 31^st, as they will no longer support Flash games.

At its height, FarmVille had 30 million daily players. That of course means a lot of money being spent on digital farms.

You can now watch your favorite shows and movies on Disney+ with friends no matter where you are (as long as you have an internet connection).

Disney has added a new GroupWatch option, where you can sync streams and share “real-time reactions.” You will not find a chat feature, because Disney doesn’t want you to miss anything.

You also won't be able to trick Disney into sharing premium content with friends. If you want to watch Mulan together, everyone has to fork out the $30.

Twitter is developing a new feature that will ask you to read a news article before you retweet it.

The pop-up will only appear when you go to retweet something you haven’t read. This should hopefully “promote informed discussion.”

A Massachusetts man has died from eating too much candy. The candy in question was black licorice, and the 54-year-old man had eaten a bag and a half of the candy every single day for about three weeks.

Black licorice contains glycyrrhizic acid, which can raise blood pressure, cause low potassium levels and imbalances your electrolytes. Black licorice isn't the sole food with glycyrrhizic acid in it though. You can find it in jelly beans, licorice teas, and more.

Keep in mind that this is an extreme case, but it is a good idea to enjoy candy in moderation.

Over in the UK, a giant rat has received a medal for animal bravery.

The rat is a giant African pouch rat named Magawa, and he’s responsible for sniffing out almost 40 unexploded landmines in Cambodia in a space equivalent to about 20 soccer fields.

The medal was the PDSA’s Gold Medal, and Magawa is the first rodent to win it.

Here’s the highlights of what’s arriving to Netflix in October.

Arriving on the 1^st are movies such as Ace Ventura, Fargo, and Superman Returns. On the 9^th comes the second chapter to The Haunting anthology series called The Haunting of Bly Manor, and season 2 of Fast & Furious Spy Racers. Available on the 15^th is Batman: The Killing Joke, and on the 20^th, The Magic School Bus Rides Again.

The first round of preorders for Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Series X and S went live…and almost immediately sold out.

There were so many people trying to preorder their consoles that retailer websites such as Best Buy and GameStop were crashing. If you tried to order a Series X on Amazon, you would've seen loading errors as well. Many people had to keep reloading pages, only to find their efforts wasted in the end.

YouTube is getting ready to launch more AI tech to catch videos not deemed as age appropriate. Soon, you’ll start seeing a lot more videos with age restrictions.

This will require you to sign-in more often to view content that has been flagged by the AI. There might also be videos that are completely innocent that earn an age restriction, but mistakes like that are to be expected.

The new protective measures are being put in place as YouTube attempts to address global concern about the site not being suitable for children.

Facebook is working on giving people more control over their images.

In the near future, and update will give us the ability to claim ownership of an image and issue takedown requests. This means if someone takes your photo and posts it as their own, you can request that it be taken down.

To claim an image as your own with Facebook, you'll have to upload a CVS file to Facebook Rights Manager, where the metadata of that image will be stored. Once done, you'll be told where your copyright applies.

Sony and Microsoft are doing whatever they can to entice us into either buying a PS5, or Xbox Series X.

One thing keeping many people leaning towards the Xbox side was the lack of exclusive games. Well in a surprise move, Microsoft has bought Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Media for $7.5 billion.

Bethesda is the creator of The Elder Scrolls series (such as Skyrim), and Fallout 4. They also publish games such as Doom, Wolfenstein, Dishonored and more. While this will no doubt worry many gamers, it's a huge win for Microsoft. The next Elder Scrolls game might very well be a Xbox exclusive.

Sony has finally revealed the price and release date of the PlayStation 5.

The announcement took place during their livestream of the PS5 Showcase Event, where they showed off new gameplay trailers and the PlayStation 5 Plus Collection.

If you're not going straight for the Xbox Series X, you can pick up the PS5 on November 12^th for $499 or the Digital Edition for $399.

The first official trailer for season two of The Mandalorian has dropped.

In the trailer, the Mandalorian is given the objective of bringing Baby Yoda to an ancient order of sorcerers. This means we’ll probably get to see some Jedi action when the new series hits Disney+ on October 30^th.

Scientists believe they may have found signs of extraterrestrial life on the hottest planet in our solar system, Venus.

While they don’t have proof of living organisms, they did spot clouds of a gas called phosphine, which here on Earth, is produced by bacteria. The gas is extremely toxic to humans.

The scientist plan on continuing their research, and maybe one day, we’ll have a definitive answer on life outside of our own planet.

Over in Canada, Taco Bell is debuting its Jalapeno Noir Wine.

The fast food chain says it has notes of strawberry, cherry and beetroot, and pairs well with the Toasted Cheesy Chalupa. If you want to try the wine, you’ll have to make a trip to select locations in Ontario.

A RoboCop prequel series, without RoboCop, is in development.

The TV series will show us the rise of Omni Consumer Products, and expand a little on the RoboCop world. Ed Neumeier, who wrote the original RoboCop's script, is working with MGM on the new series.

To get the greenlight, MGM Studios has to find partners and produce a pilot episode.

Blockbuster movies are finally hitting the big screens at open movie theaters, but Hollywood is still experiencing some turbulence with the scheduling.

Wonder Woman 1984, which was supposed to release on October 2^nd, has been pushed back to Christmas Day.

With Christopher Nolan’s Tenet only making $20 million over Labor Day weekend, it’s no shock that Warner Brothers would keep delaying until more people are comfortable walking into theaters.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is getting a reboot.

NBCUniversal’s new streaming service Peacock has already ordered 2 seasons of the show, titled Bel-Air. It’s a dramatic take on the classic sit-com, inspired by a viral video with the same name.

AMC has announced that everyone’s favorite zombie show, The Walking Dead, is making its final shambling steps to an ending.

The show will come to a close with season 11, but this last season will contain 24 episodes, lasting until 2022.

The Walking Dead universe will live on though, with AMC greenlighting a spinoff series about Daryl and Carol, which will premiere in 2023. They're not stopping there either, adding another series featuring new characters and situations in each episode.

After a leak, Microsoft has officially revealed a second Xbox console and pricing.

The newly announced console is called the Xbox Series S. It’s smaller and less powerful than the Series X, and lacks a disc drive. This lack of power and hardware makes the S cheaper though.

The Series X will set you back $499, while the S is easier on the wallet at $299. You can pick up either one on November 10^th.
